TCSC Family Christmas Party

You and your family are cordially invited

to attend the Twin Cities Scottish Club Family Christmas Party, which this year, will be held at the beautiful Commons on Marice, 1380 Marice Drive, in Eagan. We’ll have the bright and sunny Atrium and cozy pub-like Clubhouse for the whole day.

Saturday, December 1st, from 1-6pm

We’ll have things for younger and older kids to do. Plus, there’ll be a (surprise) visit from Santa Claus.

Parents of children attending should bring a wrapped and clearly marked present for their child. (We’ll have a discreet drop off, so the kids don’t see what’s going on.) Of course, adults can gift other adults too, through Santa!

 

Member participation

Members with last names beginning with A-L are asked to bring a sweet and those beginning with M-Z, a savory treat. TCSC will supply tea and coffee and shortbread.

If anyone needs a lift there, we will help you find a way to get there if you don’t drive, or are coming on your own.

Whist Night!!

It’s TCSC Whist Night!!! Come and join us at a lovely location in “The Mezz” at the Lunds & Byerlys at
7171 France Ave in Edina. Arrive early, buy your dinner in Lunds and sit upstairs to eat. We have a wee room up there reserved from 6-9pm. Whist will start at 7pm. We are capped at 24 players for the evening. The first 24 people to sign up will guarantee themselves a place at that table. If you’d like to show up to socialize (there’s a bar) and watch and learn, let us know and we’ll make sure the avid card players get their spot first.

TCSC Scottish Community Picnic and Beach Party

Thank you to everyone who attended our beach party and picnic!

August 5th, 10am -5pm, Bush Lake Beach, Shelter #3

(9140 E. Bush Lake Rd., Bloomington)

Join Us for the TCSC Scottish Community Picnic and Beach Party. Bring yourself, friends, children/grandchildren! This is open to everyone Scottish or not. This year the picnic will be back at Bush Lake! There is a large shelter, (so we will have the picnic rain or shine), a playground, sand volleyball  court, and an easy walk to a lovely beach. Activities will begin at 10am; including races, balloon toss, and games for children and adults. There will be prizes for the winners! Enjoy a relaxing lunch at noon (bring your own lunch). Drinks (tea, coffee, water, and soda) will be provided by TCSC along with some shortbread. After lunch we will walk down to enjoy the afternoon on the beach (bring your own lawn chairs and towels).
